"An unforgettable experience"

"This festival was brilliant, a truly special evening with great programming, amazing vibes, and lots of networking and opportunities have come from it. I couldn't recommend it enough."
Naomi Waring, Director "Milk" (2025 Audience Award Winner)
"Festivals like this one have a different vibe - authentic, honest and just lovely"
Tortor Smith, Director "Hot Mess"
“The festival fosters a real sense of community - one that even helped me to connect with the right producer for my current feature film project!”
Faye Jackson, Director of upcoming feature film "Little Bird", Producer Carley Armstrong
“I
"Being part of the 225 Film Club with our award winning film
"The Woman in The Wardrobe", was so incredibly special. Screening at the BFI
amongst so many other insanely talented Female directors was both encouraging
and deeply inspiring. The community that has been built past the event
has been priceless and I couldn't have asked for a better way to engage a
wider audience in one of our earliest screenings. Rita was the warmest host,
making sure that each and everyone of us felt valued and central to the experience.
It was an evening that we will never forget as a team! Not to be missed!"
Ruby Phelan, Director "The Woman In The Wardrobe"
"Getting involved in the 225 Film Club has been one of the most beautiful and
rewarding things I have done with my filmmaking journey so far. Having had the opportunity to screen films there two years in a row, I also feel like I have had the privilege of watching it grow,
and seeing how an experience is curated, not just an event. It is a celebration of
female filmmakers but it is also a community - something that underrepresented groups in our industry so desperately need. Collaboration not competition.
It is an exquisite bubble of pure magic."
Catherine Joy White, Producer "Ceres" & "Fifty-Four Days"
Director of upcoming feature film,"Black Samphire"
